Approve the following request from Vicksburg Main Street for the Vicksburg Hipstoric Art Festival:
1. Sponsorship Application in the amount of $10,000.00 pursuant to Section 17-3-1 and Section 17-3-3 of the Mississippi Code of 1972,as amended
2. Close Washington Street from Jackson Street to Crawford Street to all vehicle traffic starting Friday, October 2nd at 7a.m. until Sunday, October 4th at 10p.m. and provide barriers at cross streets and signage, as needed
3. Provide and post "No Parking 9p.m. Thursday, October 1st until 10p.m. Sunday, October 4th" signs on both sides of Washington Street from Jackson Street to Crawford Street
4. Deliver 20 metal barricades for musician unloading/loading and parking areas to the following places: 5 to the corner of Crawford and Washington Street, 5 to the corner of China and Washington Street, 5 to the corner of Jackson and Washington Street, and 5 to the parking lot on the corner of Walnut and Jackson Street
5. Allow use of Washington Street Park for performances and children's activities
6. Provide electricity for artists on the west side of Washington Street and at Washington Street Park and the stage in the parking lot next to Key City Brewery
7. Provide on-site crowd control officers and medical personnel during show hours: Friday, October 2nd 5p.m.-9p.m., Saturday, October 3rd 10a.m-6p.m., and Sunday October 4th Noon-5p.m.
8. Freshen the landscaping on Washington Street from Jackson Street to Crawford Street and trim branches to 7' above the ground on the trees on the west side of Washington Street across from Washington Street Park
9. Provide trash cans with liners and place them at Washington Street Park and along Washington Street from Jackson Street to Crawford Street, provide access to a dumpster, and provide workers to place, monitor, and pull trash bags
10. Allow access to the restrooms in the parking lot at the corner of Washington Street and Crawford Street during all hours of the festival and clean and re-supply restrooms, as needed
